Thought I give this a try on the way through Worthingwell, you have to try them to be fair.
Could not rate poorly but there is some serious competition around and that compromises this rating.
Pleasant staff, but the ambience is cold and forebearing.(bit like waiting in a bus shelter)
Quite small portions given the higher price charged.Seniors Special is a £1 dearer than Worthing Fisheries and not as good. I personally found the fish a little tasteles and skins were quite thick. -

I ordered a large cod and chips plus onion rings on Friday night. The waitress indicated a large cod was the size of a wine bottle so I ordered this. When I got home to open the takeaway the bag was covered in grease and there were 5 squashed onion rings the size of a 10 pence coin for £1.10! The 'large cod' was about 6 inches long and had not been filleted properly so it still had its skin on it! Gross.
I then called Chips Inc to complain and the waitress said 'we were busy this is why your meal was not good...' then the male manager came on the phone and said 'we cater for the masses not for a moaning customer!' It was laughable that he was not interested in a customers feedback.
Please avoid if you want a decent fish and chips served by people who care about the customer ! The Fish Factory on the Brighton Road serves an excellent fish and chip so please go there rather than this greasy rip off.
